rv - Fixing ignition stutter - coil, plugs, wires, air filter

Engine had a miss. It was more pronounced at low RPM. I had previously replaced the ignition cap and rotor, and swapped over a used ignition coil. That didn't fix it.

This time I replaced the coil entirely with a new unit. I also replaced the spark plugs and wires. The old wire was high-end, 8.5 mm wire. I don't know how old it was though. The plugs were relatively new though.

This did fix the issue. I think the real fix was gapping the new plugs to 0.040 inches, rather than 0.080 inch recommended in the manual. Community consensus is that was a misprint and should have been 040 from the start. The narrower gap likely made it easier for the spark to come out the plug rather than finding another way to ground somewhere along the wires.
